On average, Americans are inclined to align California with a few common things: Earthquakes, Movie Stars, and Beverly Hills. Little can over shadow what the American Media has branded in our minds, for generations.

While researching some of the most exclusive and noteworthy Spas in California, even I was amazed over the magnificent details I found.

We begin this find with Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa nestled in 120 pine studded acres of pure paradise, just a short and scenic drive away from Sacramento or the Bay Area; simply amazing, yet not earthquake-free!

Dramatically situated at the base of Mount Konocti, this lakeside classic has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation and has been deemed up-and-coming, if not there already, as Northern California’s premier destination luxury resort spa.

Located in Lake County, on California’s largest natural lake known for it’s stunning night sky, Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa is now famous for star gazing of a different sort: The Indoor Joe Mazzola Classic Concert Showroom and The Outdoor Konocti Field Amphitheatre play host to nearly 100 shows per year, by some of the biggest names in music. Speaking of stars, you can never be too sure who you might bump into while visiting; that being said, be sure to take full advantage of the beauty spa services, which is among the 100’s of treatment services available on site.
