Take Time Out and Relax in a Pearl Bath

September 30th, 2009 by Simon

There’s nothing like a nice relaxing bath to calm you down after a long hard day in the office. Sink beneath the foaming bubbles into the soft cocooning shell, the smell of lavender fills the air, light a candle or two, absolute bliss.

But there are baths and there are Pearl Baths. A Pearl Bath is a bath unlike any other, specifically designed to form around the human body, you can just sit back and relax knowing no other bath is designed to cosset you quite like a Pearl Bath does.

One of the most important things to do when you’re trying to relax is to limit the amount of background noise. Something Pearl Baths understands as they have developed a virtually silent whirlpool system. Quieter than any other whirlpool on the market, this is worth buying one for alone.

But the best part of a Pearl Bath is their unique AromaScents system. Simply fill the receptacle with your favourite essential oil and turn it on with a special button and the air will be filled with beautiful relaxing aromas. No other bath has this fantastic feature and its worth its weight in gold.

Pearl Baths come in all different shapes and styles from traditional to ultra contemporary so you’re sure to find one that suits your taste.

So don’t be tempted to buy just any bath, invest in a Pearl Bath.

Le Mirador of Switzerland

Whether you are in search of a ‘Day-Spa’ in Switzerland or a ‘Stay Spa’, we feel as though we have found the most magnificent of what Switzerland has to offer in Spas, period.

Le Mirador, an exclusive Resort Hotel, and Spa is among the most celebrated spas of Switzerland. Locals have told us that if you visit no other luxury spa in Switzerland, you must visit Le Mirador!

Having been said that this is an absolute must stay among Switzerland’s finest grand-luxe resorts; Le Mirador is an oasis of tranquility, surrounded by all of the beauty that nature has to offer. The atmosphere throughout Le Mirador is that of a chic country manor — a jewel-inspired treasure house of nothing, but pure luxury, comfort, and gourmet cuisine.

Spa Chakra Grand Hotel Park is a magnificent choice if you are seeking a luxury spa experience in Switzerland. Spa Chakra is a holistic health center offering customized spa and wellness services and chalet-style Swiss aesthetic traditions. From the outside, the meticulously restored facade of this hillside hotel provides a classical welcome reminiscent of the early 20th century. No matte where you are in the hotel or spa, you can enjoy unobstructed and glorious, panoramic views of the Swiss Alps. The spa is designed as an oasis with luxurious features and an unhurried approach to enhancing beauty, health, and wellness.

Likely the most famous of Spas and Resorts in Switzerland as a whole is found in the picturesque town of St. Moritz and has been hailed the landmark of this beautiful terrain. If the beauty of the snow covered Swiss Alps isn’t enough send you running for your luggage, perhaps a day or two at the Badrutt’s Palace Hotel and Resort will in fact be the ‘encouragement’ you need, as Badrutt’s is among the leading hotel and resorts in the entire world; not only is this Spa favored by celebrities worldwide, it is frequented by those same famous people quite often.

The Badrutt’s Spa sits amid the crystal lakes and majestic spires of the Swiss Alps, and employs an incomparable retreat and a breathtaking setting for relaxing your body and soul, while rediscovering the person you always knew you were. The Daniela Steiner Spa and Skin Care System is trusted by the world’s most sophisticated guests for the ultimate in nourishment and rejuvenation. Beauty treatments for the entire body are combined into a single treatment philosophy featuring products blended from the essence of rare botanicals for their superior cleansing, healing and age-defying properties. The Badrutt’s Spa’s offers all guests an onsite health club, aiding in the achievement a healthy spirit and body through a specialized wellness program, which is undoubtedly second to none. A team of highly trained, certified professionals is available for individual fitness programs and nutritional guidance. Upon checking out of Badrutt’s, you will depart with a peace of mind you didn’t know was possible in today’s hectic, non-stop daily living; that alone will make the trip well worth while and perhaps have you coming back for repeat treatments.

Our last stop in Switzerland might seem incomprehensible after seeing what Badrutt’s has to offer; however, it is an incredibly posh spa in its own right. We are taking about Alpenhoff Hotel, in Zermatt, Switzerland. While Alpenhoff doesn’t necessarily prefer to have their facility referred to as a ‘spa’ per se`, it is just that all the same. Alpenhoff provides guest’s with a wellness program, or Spa-for lack of better words that you wouldn’t expect to find in a hotel. The wellness program runs far beyond the boundaries of any traditional spa and implements a healthy lifestyle as a habit, not a choice. Perhaps this is where ‘Swiss Beauty’ is derived?

Relaxation is mandatory and acts as the natural high in the Alpenhoff Spa; this is where you will enjoy massage therapy and indulge on the best that Switzerland has to offer. It is the long running promise of Annelise and Hans Peter Julen, the Alpenhoff owners, to especially take care of the International guest with great regard and daily wellness treatments. They say to ‘indulge’ in wellness is impossible.

If you have never been to Switzerland, traveling for the sake of a great spa is the perfect excuse. Book your luxury travel today with the experts at Upside Living.

Pamper yourself at Château Élan – you deserve it

July 5th, 2009 by edispu luxury

It’s time to enjoy some upside living, and you can do that at the Luxury spa Château Élan, located just 40 minutes north of Atlanta. Set amongst the north Georgia foothills. A resort inn, guests of the Chateau can visit the European health spa, play on two golf courses, or visit the winery that started it all.

The Château Élan began in 1981 as a winery. Twenty years later the winery has expanded into what it is today, a top-class conference and leisure destination, and in particular a Luxury spa.

Atlanta spa

This Luxury spa offers more treatments, in a la carte fashion, than you can shake an exfoliating brush at. There are treatments designed specifically for men, women and for couples as well.

With the luxury spa located right next to the winery, it’s no coincidence that they offer a a wine bath, which infuses the body with the anti-oxident power of grapeseeds, a Crush Body Scrub which exfoliates your skin and leaving it feeling as smooth as silk ,and a De-Vine Mudwrap which re-hydrates the entire body.

And you have not had a massage until you have had a hot stone massage!

Couples can receive a hot stone massage, the “ultimate couples facial,” or the most luxurious event of all: a Champagne and Chocolate Caviar Pedicure with Parafin. Or, you and your significant other can spend an entire half-day with a Tropical Island Rendezvous, which begins with a relaxing exfoliant massage. Then you slip into a soothing Caribbean fragrance delight dream bath. A full body massage follows, then a warmed Avocado oil scalp treatment. Alone time is then provided in-suite while you sip Cool Caribbean Cocktail and juicy Tropical Fruits.

After a visit to a Luxury spa, you’ll be refreshed and rejuvenated.

Notable Spas in California – part 1

August 4th, 2008 by edispu luxury

On average, Americans are inclined to align California with a few common things: Earthquakes, Movie Stars, and Beverly Hills. Little can over shadow what the American Media has branded in our minds, for generations.

While researching some of the most exclusive and noteworthy Spas in California, even I was amazed over the magnificent details I found.

We begin this find with Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa nestled in 120 pine studded acres of pure paradise, just a short and scenic drive away from Sacramento or the Bay Area; simply amazing, yet not earthquake-free!

Dramatically situated at the base of Mount Konocti, this lakeside classic has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation and has been deemed up-and-coming, if not there already, as Northern California’s premier destination luxury resort spa.

Located in Lake County, on California’s largest natural lake known for it’s stunning night sky, Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa is now famous for star gazing of a different sort: The Indoor Joe Mazzola Classic Concert Showroom and The Outdoor Konocti Field Amphitheatre play host to nearly 100 shows per year, by some of the biggest names in music. Speaking of stars, you can never be too sure who you might bump into while visiting; that being said, be sure to take full advantage of the beauty spa services, which is among the 100’s of treatment services available on site.
